Are the red TESLA logos lit up? If not, they aren’t powered on.I drove by today lookin for a Tesla charging, but they were all empty. I did see a Model 3 at Target and was going to tell him to go plug in and see if they were work.
Ah, good to know. I don't have a Tesla yet.Are the red TESLA logos lit up? If not, they aren’t powered on.
I-94 already had Ann Arbor-Saline Rd.I won't complain about having more chargers, but it seems like an odd location that's relatively far away from 23/94 exits. Either dealing with the mess that is the Washtenaw/Carpenter intersection or getting off at Michigan Ave and driving a few miles.
It's in the phone App, just not in the car NAV yet.Agree, not showing up on the NAV system yet, but is working as I’m charging here right now. My car has been sitting for several hours so my battery is cold resulting in pulling about 85kW vs probably the 120kW I’d expect given the SOC on my mid-2016 MS90D. I’m sure the added capacity here locally will be appreciated. Was by the original Ann Arbor location mid-afternoon taking my daughter shopping and all stalls were full, I’m sure many by locals while out doing Saturday shopping. Know if I had been traveling through and needed to charge would have been a pain to wait and then likely getting throttle by shared stalls.
Stall number.Just our of curiosity what is the 3D labeling at the bottom of the charger?
That is the designation for the stall. The new V3 superchargers have 4 stalls per each cabinet. So this location being 12 stalls, has three cabinets, and then each cabinet has an A, B, C, D stall. So the 3D refers to cabinet 3, stall D.Just our of curiosity what is the 3D labeling at the bottom of the charger?
Better to do a soft open than find out there is an issue after publishing the new site. And the "Find Us" section of the Tesla web site has finally been updated to show this location as active and no longer under construction! That's over two weeks AFTER it has actually been in service.
