Yes, there is one! Nur-Sultan Supercharger | Tesla So fresh that it isn't on Tesla's website map, but it does have a page on Tesla's site (above) and it is on the data feed which supercharge info uses.
I had a search on twitter and found this video: Anuarbek Imanbaev on Twitter Which includes this frame - which shows 2 plugs - so probably same as Europe (Type 2 / CCS2)
The first step in the Electric Silk Road? Ciechocinek, Poland -> Zarechye, Russia 921 miles Zarechye, Russia -> Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan 1,764 miles Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan -> Yanan - Longhua Hotel, China 2,734 miles Total miles 5,418
Holly crap this is sick! So it looks to be an EU plug which people from North America can use too with an adapter. As @JSergeant said, this is the beginning for the Silk Road! So hyped for Tesla
From what I've heard, NA Tesla vehicles cannot charge on the EU supercharger network even with an adapter.
It works with this adapter some guy in Sweden was testing it out with his US spec Model S. I believe Tesla will soon come out with an adapter for a fraction of the price.
There is an existing thread about US/EU supercharger adaptors, which is probably the best place for the discussion: - Super Charger Adapter for US cars in Europe
This is amazing! The loneliest supercharger in the world. I hope to see this network span Asia someday.
From an article in the Steppe. Translated from Russian: “Six Tesla Superchargers will be officially presented at Talan Towers: four in the parking lot near The Ritz-Carlton, Astana, two more in the underground parking at P1 level, which will provide convenient and easy access both in winter and in summer.”
This is correct. When I pointed out to the Western Australian owners than they no longer had the world's most isolated supercharger, they suggested it would have been preferable to have lost this status by Tesla building a second site in WA
Which is longer than the distance from the Kazakhstan supercharger to the one near Moscow. That was my point! EDIT: My bad! I misread your original post. I thought it was only ~900 miles from Moscow.
