@Melanie_S85, glad to see you stepped up your game and did your own post this time. I knew I didn't need to do this for you any longer.
Thanks for grabbing the update, @Half Dollar Bill, and perhaps I DID push her out of the nest too soon. Ha.
Hey, but you did get that one in Colby, Kansas and I hear that one is a real challenge to get...for some people anyway (I'm talking about me).
Welcome to the forums...see you in Custer later today...the one in South Dakota though.![]()
I'm off to Gillette to get one more before going to there myself.
Argh! I wanted to cross the 400 mark in 7th place and you,YOU, took that from me by less than a week. :^)I didn't officially update the thread yesterday, but I did add both Wheatland and Gillette. I'm convinced (in hindsight) that I could have made it from Wheatland to Sheridan in one charge...but I thought the that might be a really "close shave" as the range I would have left would be "razor thin". Besides I wanted to get to Custer before "5 o'clock (shadow)" so I just went directly to Gillette.
Needed now more than ever! Now we just need to work on those elusive Century Club belt buckles.

Have a great weekend in Custer
I made it from Lusk to Sheridan on a single charge in an 85. Those were the days.I didn't officially update the thread yesterday, but I did add both Wheatland and Gillette. I would attempt that no problem in most conditions in my S100D. Would probably start out at 70mph and slow down if necessary. But in a 90D it's a different story. I don't think I would even attempt in yesterday's conditions. Would probably need dry roads and temps above 50F. The main problem is your Plan B in a spot like that is a flat-bed tow truck.I didn't officially update the thread yesterday, but I did add both Wheatland and Gillette. The elevation change was in your favor but the speeds were not! I'm guessing you were going maybe 60mph in the UP. Going 60mph on the interstate in Wyoming is a little awkwardSomething was working in my favor yesterday (maybe the wind) because I left for Gillette and was projected to get there with about 22% battery left and ended up getting there with over 30% remaining...and I was not exactly going slow. I have gone over 250 miles in my S90D in similar conditions before...across the UP in Michigan. Not much elevation change there though. Anyway, I opted not to take that route just to get one more charger. I'll get those one day when I'm heading out to Washington state or some such.

Trying to think of how each would be cast in famous movies:The top 7
Thanks @Bighorn
My mistake. I apologize, i didn't come across that warning. I stand corrected, thanks for understanding.
