We're on a quick jaunt up through the North-East. Today's catch:

Hudson, MA
Braintree, MA
Boston - Richard B. Ross Way, MA
Lynnfield, MA
Portland, ME

Spreadsheet updated. My total is 666 - I'll take the Chinese meaning:

in Chinese, 666 is a tonal equivalent for ‘things go smoothly’ and a favored number.

Well done! That's an impressive one day total.

Thanks! It took just 11 hours to get those 20, including a few wrong turns, some confusion in the New Stamford, CT parking garage and mistakenly charging at the Tarrytown, NY Supercharger that I had previously visited. Remove those few mistakes and I averaged a new Supercharger every 30 minutes.

Not only the extra curricular visit to Nokia but what a beautiful autumn drive that must have been!
Glad to see a new TappanZee. That thing was scary!

Holy cr*p. Color me impressed.

Model 3 in front of the iconic Bell Labs, now owned by Nokia

Going to go off topic, sorry, but you started it. :)

Is that Murray Hill or one of the other sites? (I summer-interned twice at Murray Hill, where the UNIX group was, in the early 1990s. Somewhere I have a division roster with my name on the same piece of paper as Ken Thompson, Dennis Ritchie, Brian Kernighan, and assorted other C/UNIX gods.)

My wonderful husband’s exhibit for the 50 years of Unix celebration at Bell Labs. Name those computers and you’ll get extra credit. ;)

I'll bite. The two desktop computers look like Apple Lisas (after they got rid of the weirdo dual-access 5.25" floppy disks...maybe re-branded as the Mac XL). The low, flat thing is a hard drive, probably with a whopping 5MB or 10MB of storage. The case on the left I'll guess was an Osborne or maybe a Kaypro (both "portable" computers in the 1980s). Is that close?

Bruce.

Hey Bruce,

Yes it was at the Murray Hill site. What a huge operation, although they say the staff is down to about a fifth of what it once was.

And yes, you’re correct on the Apple Lisas. I’m not sure what the others are, but I’ll check with Jason.

Good time to introduce lobster roll:)

I have a great video of him eating Lobster Newburg with a spoon himself Monday night in Salem.

When I was 9, I kept ordering lobster or lobster rolls when my family was driving around the country, especially in the Midwest. My parents allowed my order once or twice, but most times I was overruled. At the time I felt they were being very unfair, but, looking back, I'm amazed they were as patient as they were. :p

This is one of the 52,878 reasons why stopping at 1 kid is so desirable.

My 9 year old will order sushi every chance she gets. I indulge her. It's gotta be better for her than more mac 'n cheese or chicken fingers...

Thus far our kid does *not* go for typical kids menu items. He likes flavor. The exception being crackers - which was his entire lunch yesterday...

Kind of refreshing that we have a protected venue where we don't get scolded by admins for going off topic. Thanks!

@JSergeant any updates to share?

I did in fact go to Jackman and it was live. I’ve had no internet access all day until now. We’re in St. John’s just shy of the Quispamsis Supercharger having something to eat at Boston Pizza. I’ll post some photos and comments when we get to our hotel.

Thank you @JSergeant. You saved me a 12 hour drive on Saturday.
