Yes, I imagine it will be an awsome trip through all sorts of scenery. I live in Norway, so I'm not the least conserned about any weather I might encounter. We have winter almost half the year and I already have my snow tires on :)
Some of the roads are closed for winter though. I can't quite zoom in on your map well enough but I believe you have some closed roads on there. For example if you try to navigate from Quinto, Switzerland to Steg-Hohtenn, Switzerland on Google Maps, it says part of the route includes a "car transport." My best guess is that means they put the cars on a train and go through the train tunnels. Could be interesting! Although you'll be missing out on the Nufenen Pass which was amazing, even though I only got to drive over it after dark.

Yes, your right, I need to rethink my route. I believed there would be road tunnels wherever there was a closed pass, but that does not seem to be the case. Thanks a lot for the info.

I checked my route, and as @PLUS EV pointed out, one of the passes I planned to drive is closed for the winter. However it seems that the car train that bypass that road is operating every 30 minutes during the day and actually saves time compared to driving over the pass. So I'll stick to my planned route and just reroute if I encounter any obstacles. I'll make sure to charge more than I need just to get to the next SC while driving in the alps :)

The rest of the planned trip seems to be without any difficulties. I'll be sure to take some pictures and keep you informed about how it goes.

Reminds me of our Eurodelivery route which was the summer of 2001 and pics we took in the San Bernardino Pass—really tall poles to show plow drivers the edge of the road much like here in the Big Horns.

Just be sure the train driver isn’t doing 51% of the driving:)

Finally, a nice road. West Virginia Turnpike was surprisingly nice for an Interstate. New smooth tarmac, sweeping corners through Autumn colored hills and no traffic, no semis. I'm lucky I got away with just paying tolls (and not a fine).

Was surrounded by a Middle School church group at the Charleston WV charger, they just stared at my car like it was a spaceship. Finally one of the boys asked what kind of car it was and I said Tesla, he just gave me a puzzled look. The group left and at the back of the group was a daughter of one of the chaperones, about 6 years old, she turns and yells back at me "I like your car!"

According to Google... I've done quite a bit of driving in 2019.
