I'm going back and forth on taking a trip this weekend. I'm thinking I will, but keep it to a single day trip, returning home that same night. Interactions with the public will be nil and I'll have cleaning supplies to address Supercharger handles and public restrooms as needed.

As the pandemic progresses, the lack of productive, meaningful work diminishes and cabin fever sets in, I might be more adventurous and do a single night of car camping on a two-day trip. I'm not really interested in staying at hotels at this time.

Be safe out there.

Similar sentiments here - been at home for most of the past week and feel like I need to go out. Don't want to go too far. Perhaps a quick trip to CT, staying at least six feet from @tes-s. And may want to do so soon before CT closes the MA border.

Not really interested in spending two to five months in a hotel in Custer.

If Custer happens and work is still closed, which I fully expect it will be, I'll head there from Washington.

I, too, gave some thought to doing a road trip to get more superchargers. But I became concerned about all the things others have mentioned here: closed rest stops, closed restaurants, etc. And I wouldn't be surprised to see total lockdowns and/or curfews in some places. I'm sure the superchargers would continue to work, but.....

So we've postponed any potential trips in the near term......

John did have a devious suggestion about having visits to the inn's destination chargers be a new game metric. I'm going to see if I can sneak that by the admins with the other metric suggestions I'm working on.

I think the only metric being suggested is whether a play had charged in a specific destination charger in Freeport Maine. Sounds like a very clever revenue generation model to me . No offense intended @Half Dollar Bill
