Congrats. Never thought a list of non-visited would ever be this short! If you can visit 18 of the 28 (26 excluding PR) before they open another one, you'll have visited more locations in the US than are open! I think that may be a bridge too far, even if we make it just continental US.

Congratulations on US 1,000! What an achievement, very happy you did it safely. Thanks for leading the charge and showing us all how the pros do it. Supercharging machine! Enjoy the night off for once. You also hit NA 1,100 and 200 firsts. Well done.

Don’t count him out, he still has to get home. How much is the ferry to Aguadilla?

There were a couple times in the past where I cleared all but one supercharger in the country. Much harder to do now with the increased pace of buildout. I would not have left orphans this time if it were not a “race” to 1000. Still opposed to the expensive valets in NYC. The Manhattan one I went to, the valet let me plug in and he didn’t charge me.

Can confirm! I was supposed to hit 200 in 2019 but here we are. I’m officially registered for Custer but will give myself grace to back out if halfway there it seems too ambitious with a tot.
And don’t forget the option to High Point on the side, that’s where a Rand McNally road Atlas or the National Geographic road atlas come in handy. On long road trips my Dad would hand me the atlas have me figure out what the high point was for that state. Come to think of it, we never did stop at any of them, maybe he was just trying to keep me occupied? Is the Tot old enough to be mesmerized by a road atlas yet?

I added just one more this morning before heading home. I had originally hoped to swing by Littleton, MA, but my wife wanted to be back home in time to do some studio work. As it turned out, it took us an extra 1.5 hours to get home than expected, so it was too late to be worth going to the studio.

But from my experience in NYC the guy was probably looking for a hefty tip. I once talked the Maitre’d at Campbell Apartment to let me in even though I didn’t meet the dress code. He waved me in then wanted a twenty as a tip. I glanced at the bar and realized the were no taps so was not interested in having a twenty dollar blah beer with a twenty dollar tip so I just pulled my camera out and took a few shots and left. He actually followed me into Grand Central to the Jordan bar (relatively better and cheaper beer) and the bar tender shoo’d him out, sounds like it happens quite a bit with us out of towers!
