More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Love the new data presentation. Really love it. Yes, some scrubbing is needed.
Way out there recommendation - on the new "per day" chart, can you use a custom icon? Maybe a charging station or a battery gauge?
Or, once the data is scrubbed, have the chart appear in a battery gauge with the competitors by rank.
The date isn't really the relevant axis for this chart. Going back to my Tufte book for that one.
I can die now. I did something that caused someone to reference Tufte. :)

I agree and disagree regarding the axis statement. For now, it is the correct axis as it helps @JSergeant and others rectify dates. knowing the date in question is exactly what they need to go dive into the data. I get your bigger point though and we can definitely look for other visualizations with a different X axis. Using a different icon is easy if someone can find or make one for me. I'm terrible at that stuff. SVG with transparent background is probably the best format.

When it comes to visualizing data, Hans Rosling (RIP) is up there with Tufte. His TED talk is one of the most viewed ever.

Update: I had the wrong link. Here is his original TED talk that went viral.

Whew. Just updated the docs sheet with both my trip to California in June and all the "x"'s from my various other trips starting in 2014.

The trip from Victoria BC to California in June was very interesting. My wife and I were in my 2013 85S, and my son and fiancé were in his 2018 RWD 3. The advances that Tesla has made in the 5 years are astounding. His 3 required far less charging, and less time at chargers. Also watching the 3 do the "onramp wiggle" in my mirror was fun, and consistent!

And an awesome thing on our trip - we happened to be stopped at Kettleman City when one of the Tesla Semi's pulled up to charge. Had a very nice chat with the very friendly two drivers. Discussed how much fun the Grapevine is. I wanted to delay us leaving so we could pace the Semi up the hill, but my wife had other ideas.

New superchargers this trip (already entered): Fairfield Holiday Lane CA; Kettleman City CA; Santa Clarita CA; Bakersfield CA; Buttonwillow CA; Fountain Valley CA; Redondo Beach CA; Westminster CA; San Jose Santana Row CA; San Clemente CA; San Diego A St CA; San Diego Friars Rd CA; Buelton CA; Santa Monica Place CA; Monterey CA; San Luis Obispo CA; Concord CA; Alameda CA; Petaluma CA; Ukiah CA; Eureka CA; Crescent City CA; Bandon OR; Lincoln City OR; Seaside OR; Aberdeen WA.

Hahahaha, yes, sorry, here they are!

I asked the driver what he felt was the most advantage this semi gave him (he's driven semi's for years), and his response was interesting: unbelievable difference when maneuvering from zero or very slow speed -- the electric motors have so much torque they can easily move a heavy load at slow speed, especially starting from zero. A normal ICE semi you're looking at lots of revving the engine, playing with the clutch, etc while navigating into tight spots. Way easier with the Tesla.

Now back to regular programming after that bit of EV-porn.

Is that what we're calling that.... Ugh, I must say, I do not like that my AP2 car does that as well. Seriously, I wish they'd fix that, like by reading the onramp sign and then following the line on the left instead of thinking that it must get in the middle of a new massively wide lane. Or maybe look down the road a bit farther and see that the lane gets narrow again... Either way, it's a bit unsettling when AP is on and the car pulls to the right...especially when you have your hands on the wheel. Some states this isn't an issue as they paint dashed lines for all entrance ramps...but in others, like PA, it's pretty bad.

I finally took care of the pesky Burbank, CA service center supercharger. I have stopped by multiple times but got tired of waiting for a stall to open up. It’s only 15 min from my house. Finally today I got it after waiting 20 min. It’s not on the NAV but it counts on our list and TeslaFi recognized it.
If someone can add it to my column that’s great otherwise I will do it tonight. Thanks!

Hmm I've been to that Burbank Supercharger on the roof of parking lot. Been fortunate to not run into lines but I went there at 7am, and 9:30pm so not peak hours. I've seen photos of the lines for it there though lol

Hello Good Overlords of the list! Just join the club thought I join in on the fun since I already keep a simple google spreadsheet of where I've been charging my Model 3 on June 29th. Please add me into the leader board if you can.

1. 7/3/2019 Glendale, CA
2. 7/7/2019 Burbank, CA (has the 120kwh chargers)
3. 7/27/2019 - Downey, CA - Lakewood Blvd.
4. 8/3/2019 - Burbank, CA
5. 8/11/2019 - Downey, CA - Lakewood Blvd. 2nd time here and ran into broken stalls.

Seems like the Lakewood Bl one both times I visit always had 2 charging stations out of commission.

The listed Burbank, CA supercharger does have lines sometimes. But this is a different one, supercharger at the Burbank service center a mile east of there. I have tried to charge there before but the center uses the spots for parking vehicles, so it’s rarely available.
