More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Spoke with a Tesla Rover tech charging near me at Katy about slow charging issue. Agreed it was a problem and not aware of any genetic firmware bug or ??? that would cause it. Need to start a service request.

Sometimes I have too much time on my hands.

As I was driving from Yerington NV on US95-Alternate onto US95 to Las Vegas stopping along the way at Hawthorne, Tonopah, and Beatty, I concocted a competition for the true road warriors out there.

I propose a cross-country rally from the Pacific Coast to the Atlantic Seaboard starting and finishing at the same locations with the following rules:

This is a timed event. However, there are penalties for not fulfilling all the requirements. My first attempt is as follows:

Exactly one hundred Superchargers must be visited.

A minimum of 15kWh must be added at each Supercharger.

Each participant in this challenge must visit at least three new (to them) Superchargers. This rule applies to each occupant in the competition. A single participant need only visit three. If there are two drivers in a car, then each driver must attain three new Superchargers apiece.

Documentation must be provided to the judges.

If these conditions are not met, time penalties would be added to the contestant's final time. Maybe add 30 minutes for only reaching 99 Superchargers, and then one full hour for each additional shortcoming. Maybe add 20 minutes for each extra Supercharger visited, and 20 minutes for not attaining the 15kWh minimum per location. Maybe subtract 30 minutes if the driver attains a "first visit" en route.

I know, sorta silly. But whatcha gonna do while looking at 250 miles of sagebrush and zero traffic?

Such a competition will take some very clever route planning. Interesting...

Just building:
It takes far less than 100 to get from coast to coast. You can probably do 3 or 4 transcontinental trips to get that total. Or you're being very inefficient and meandering a lot.
And then a minimum add at each stop - doesn't that give newer cars an advantage since they charge faster?

Re-cleared PA and MD. VA has one more to go. South Hill VA always seems to be 2 hours in wrong direction.

I swear nav computer lady was pronouncing "Boston" with an authentic accent - like she was from there.

I’m fully aware that 100 stops is overkill for a cross-country jaunt. I would think this hurdle would try to smooth out the charging speed differences among models and focus more on route planning and efficiencies in driving.

Sure, a Model 3 can grab 15 kWh at a version 3 Supercharger in 5 minutes while a crippled S takes about 12 with a low SOC.

But like I said, just some whimsy while counting the miles driving through the desert.

Maybe amend the conditions of contest to forbid more than 10 version 3 SC.

I don't think there are rules will level the playing field across cars. Different cars charge at different speeds, and consume different kWh under identical conditions.
