**** NOTE: We have transitioned to a new platform ****
More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

I've added you - you have 63 and start off at #90. Welcome to the fun!

Admins, it looks like Tableau reverted again. I don't envy you dealing with it.

Now I don't feel so stupid when my Excel(R) spreadsheets open up and they mysteriously have shrunk to one-half size, or even at times to the size of a postage stamp.

Methinks there is a sinister Dr. Evil lurking throughout our lives waiting for the perfect moment to inflict chaos among us mere mortals.

Welcome to the madness. ;)

I dont mind paying tolls, what's madding for me is the seemingly infinite number of systems that are used and it's not always clear what you're supposed to do. Some Pay by Plate bill without penalty, some you have to log in to their system and pay within a certain number of days or they tack a surcharge. Some give you an option to pay at a booth or by plate but it's not clear what the additional charge is going to be if you Pay-by Plate. It's in Denver, I believe, where the two toll roads are a different website and billing. Some roads you have to take and hold a ticket and then pay at the exit and some of those are automated and cash only. I even ran into an old fashioned throw your coins into a basket on-ramp with no other choices. Yes, I realize I sound like a hick from backwoods Oregon where the notion of a toll road is completely foreign.
Major City dweller my whole life and I agree with you! I'm still waiting for a ticket or charge from one of my super charger hunting trips in Canada. There was no clear way to tell we were entering a toll road and no way we could figure out how to pay after the fact.

A few shots below of Shamrock - a truly unique SC location behind this beauty, now a museum on the original Rt 66. The hosts love Tesla people to drop in.

And the original supercharger - a lady charging her EV with a hand crank - in 1912. I'm pleased not to do that.

I am in the early stages of planning my counterclockwise (anticlockwise for Mr. Sargent) journey from here to Atlanta to Pittsburgh and home. I have reviewed extensively the Official Rules and Interpretations, Annotated Second and respectfully request clarifications due to vague usage of what constitutes a leg.

I will be driving over many roads where I have previously visited Superchargers, yet there might be one (like Wells, Nevada) that will be new. We are taking the Model 3 so will have a lot more range and a lot faster charging speeds than in the crippled S. The distance from Salt Lake City to Wells is 180 miles, easily reached without stopping in Tooele or West Wendover. Is this the leg? How about if someone else drives to West Wendover (127 miles) we plug in for 2 minutes, and then I drive to Wells (53 miles)? How about if we change drivers in West Wendover but do not charge?

There may be a portion of the trip where we are off the Supercharger highway. This would entail a couple of L2 stops between Superchargers. If the distance between Superchargers is 400 miles with a L2 stop after 120 and a second L2 stop 85 miles down the road, what is the leg? The entire 400-mile stretch? Or the stretch after the last L2 charge? What if the stretch were much longer, like 600 miles?

When does a leg get reset to zero? For instance, I drive from A to a motel at B. We spend the night at the motel. In the morning, another driver drives from the motel to the Supercharger 2 miles away. Would it make a difference if we got a L1 charge overnight? Would it make a difference if we stayed at the motel for several nights driving around the area without availing ourselves of the Supercharger until departure day? Are all the miscellaneous miles counted, or just the direct miles?

Sorry for so many questions! But as we increase our totals, and we find ourselves retracing our steps just to reach a new one, or we venture out into the great wilderness, I feel we need some clarification and consistency in applying the Conditions of Contest.

I think a lot of these particulars became debatably moot when flying to a supercharger was deemed acceptable.

Defining a supercharger leg is like defining pornography. I dont how to define it but I know it when I see it.

My very first Supercharger visit was in Washington State in a rented Model S. Was I supposed to drive an ICE to Washington instead of flying?

How is a competitor supposed to play the game internationally? Are they expected to sail across the ocean as opposed to flying?

Is your preference that in order to play oversees, one must ship a Tesla to the destination from their home location?

My view is whomever drives most of the distance to a supercharger, from the previous charge, gets credit for that supercharger. I would consider charging merely to reset the leg and switch drivers not in the spirit of the game. Just my opinion.

Personally, I log most of my new superchargers driving alone. When I drive with my spouse, I do all - or almost all - the driving.

Call me a purist, but yes you drive your Tesla to a supercharger.

Our vehicles are not compatible with international superchargers. Have objected to the concept as part of the game since long before it materialized, but I try not to beat dead equine. But my quest to visit all superchargers began before this competition, so it may be predicated on different goals.
