More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

I’d like to propose a little sub-competition: highest charging cost in any rolling 31-day period, per the app. No funny business with home/other charging prices, please. I’ll open with $1,096.

Look at all the money you saved, I only saved half of that, but I only spent a 10th of that as I am mostly just charging off my home solar, other than my trip to breakdown in Salt Lake City and back a week later

Madison South Livingston was interesting - dubbed an EV charging hub using “clean energy” (aka natural gas), the Superchargers and the neighboring non-Tesla chargers each have their own 1,000 kVA transformer, consuming up to 2% of the nameplate power of the Blount Generating Station next door.

It's good to back behind the wheel of my favorite old "Scarlet" after finally having the burning condenser fan repaired and getting the MCU2 upgrade. The upgrade was totally worth it, it fixed several things that never really worked and the audio quality is so much better. Skirted around Portland for a full day drive with no traffic or population centers, beautiful.

Woot! Back on the road again, what a great time to test my new CCS ECU hack so I can use my new Tesla adapter from Korea on my old 2018 TM3

If I leave at 6 am I'll ride most of the way down to LA on Free Supercharging and touch all the new chargers and then ride back on free charging after 7 pm

Just a little follow-up to the Nephi, Utah dilemma:

The permanent Cedar City SC just opened, according to Limited. There might be some kinks to work out before it is fully operational, but certainly will be busy from June onward.

I can't help but predict that with this new V3 about 45 miles north of St. George and 75+ miles north of Mesquite that the navigation will route more people to Cedar City and then to Nephi, or vice versa.

Tesla needs a spot in Fillmore or on the north side of Nephi to alleviate this bottleneck. The current location is at an abandoned restaurant or something. Or perhaps Tesla has plans to expand this spot by razing the building and having a 24+ stall location. One can hope.

While charging at Kingman at the Route 66 Museum, I dialed Barstow into the navigation. There is the easy way to Barstow--a straight shot across Interstate 40. There is the tricky way to Barstow--to Arizona 68 west to Laughlin, Nevada to US95; north on US95 to Searchlight, thence west on another Nevada state highway into California to Nipton Road and Interstate 15 south to Baker. Then on to Barstow.

After 20 minutes or so, I looked at the progress, and the navigation said to charge 15 more minutes and take the tricky way to Baker. Charge at Baker for 25 minutes before heading to Barstow. I messed around for a while, and when I looked up, it had rerouted me to Needles instead. I would arrive at Needles with 32%, charge there for a duration, then on to Barstow. Great! I unplugged and left.

A minute later, as I was approaching the onramp to Interstate 40, the navigation pulled the old switcheroo, and routed me back to Baker. Said to turn around and charge more at Kingman, cuz my arrival percentage in Baker was estimated at 4%.

I went to Needles.

For most of the journey to Needles, while charging at Needles, and for the first 90 minutes back on the road (a total of over three hours), Baker was FULL, or would have one or two open before becoming full again. Needles, despite its four stalls, was not full, and with the crippled rates, I only saw >72kW for five minutes or so anyway.

The odds were real good that I would have had a wait at Baker before plugging in. Yet Needles never showed fewer than two openings, and 3/4 were available when I arrived.

It is nigh on impossible in that region to make a sudden detour to Needles or to Baker once on the road. So, once committed, one continues or has to double-back to plug in for more juice.

I don't understand Tesla's logic behind this.
So here's a good one that the Tesla trip planner hit me with yesterday. I was charging at the new Ellensburg WA location headed to Entiat WA which should be a straight shot, simple right? No, the Tesla trip planner had me charging for 10 minutes at the location I was at and then it told me to go one block away to the old Ellensburg location and charge there for 20 minutes. WTF!

I had several of those in the past few days including moving 100 feet to the same charging location in Miles City. Messes with arrival SOCs at the actual next stop. That’s when it’s helpful to have your own rule of thumb, if you know the distance. Not sure why nav stopped showing distance to more than just the next location.

Some recent visits and cleared Utah! Was hoping to also bag Nevada on this trip but will have to wait.

Can someone familiar with the spreadsheet help update an error? It looks like I got credit for Evansville, WY while I actually visited Evanston, WY on 5/22/22. And just realized that these dates above were all this year (2022) lol. Thank you again!
