Just drove by. No change to report. Still a large hole near the curb that has yet to be filled in. I'm guessing that they may be waiting on some final inspection of those connections. Sure is getting frustrating.

I was really hoping it would be up and running for my trip to Des Moines this weekend. Hopefully the next time.

If West Des Moines isn't yet open when you need it, consider an alternate route through La Plata, MO and a stop at the Depot Inn & Suites where there are two 80A destination charge stations open to the public 24/7. I recently stopped there while driving from Independence to Coralville. I have dual chargers so that helped minimize the Depot charge time, but it still was a long 2.9 hours. The Depot is operated by a very nice young couple and is kind of a railroad theme museum as well. I promised that couple I would come spend the night sometime.

I was hoping to pass thru Des Moines tomorrow. I'm assuming I'm SOL. It would make my trip SOO much easier to get to Kirksville Mo. All other routes add at least 2 hours to my drive.

Hmm... it doesn't yet show up in my Model S Supercharger database. I see it's still not showing as open at supercharge.info or on the Tesla.com Supercharger map.

Wonderful! We will get our full charge on Saturday as we drive MN to Kansas City.
Been waiting for this SuperCharger since March 2013.
