Supercharging FAQ page updated to remove references to free supercharging

    Looks like they are in process of updating the various websites to remove references to free supercharging. There used to be a "How much does supercharging cost question", whose answer was essentially "free".


    Also, the Model S spec page has been updated to say "access to the supercharger network" instead of free long distance travel. Maybe they will be releasing pricing details soon.

    Good to see that Tesla is keeping their website current in regards to the Supercharging changes. Sometimes they are very slow to make updates on their site. On the Model X config page, even though the Air Suspension has been standard for many months, the text description still says "Add the ability to..." as if it was an option. It's not an option.

    It's worth noting that they've now missed their own self-imposed deadline to "release the details of the program later this year" (2016).

    As usual, the discerning reader should factor in the "Tesla time" component when deciphering announced dates. :p

    Mentally adding the word "around" to any date you read will help reduce anxiety, distress and disappointment. ;)
