Superstation Prévost, QC

Some construction has been spotted in Prévost, QC. The area is commonly known as "Porte du Nord" and serves as a rest area with Gas Station, McDonalds, Tim Horton and St-Hubert. Location is ideal as there's 24h restaurants, it's right off the highway, and it's the perfect stop when traveling back to Montreal from ski area in the winter.

It's still not confirmed to be a supercharger, but from the photos, there seams to be multiple charger posts. Could also be an hybrid location with Superchargers and Circuit Électrique fast charger (like Madrid 2.0), but unlikely from photos (and comments) that it's not a Supercharger. Name is obvisouly up for grabs as Tesla only announced "Saint-Sauveur" which is two exits north and Saint-Jérôme, which is technically correct, even if the place is more commonly known as Prévost (for Montrealers at least).

I know the Electric Circuit has something big planned at this test stop and I think it’s the install of their new ultrafast charging stations (150+ kW).

Nothing so far looks like a Supercharger and I haven’t received any indication that Tesla was building one in Prevost (or St-Sauveur) this year.

From the photos, there's two distinct spaces each side of where the cabinets goes. On the left two small concrete pads (BRCC). On the right, a large concrete sidewalk with 12 squares for conduits ?
It can’t possibly be a Supercharger. These little square openings are not how Tesla gets their Superchargers built. Also, I’d have to drive up on the curb to plug in to a Supercharger, if there was one. Given the distance from the parking space, there is no way in hell a Tesla cable would reach my port from there.

That's a fair point. Then it would mean the two sets of six squares would be two sets of 4 BRCC similar to the Madrid 2.0 one? Would make sense based on that picture. Then the smaller concrete pad are more suited for SC (similar to this), but again it wouldn't make sense to install only two. So could be 240V chargers... :(
My guess is on the right, those 6 conduits will be for those white superstations with 4 BRCC. On the left, it looks like there will be 2 of the new fast(er) charging stations provided by ABB (likely) and those pads in the middle will serve for the transformers for those 2 stations.

You may want to inform Club Tesla Quebec of this

Finally, it's 5 BRCC (2x 100 kw and 3x 50 wk) plus two Charge Point. They're still not active, but everything looks ready otherwise. Little bummer for Teslas unless you have the ChaDeMo adapter, but otherwise still a fantastic location for chargers.

You are new to Tesla are you? :p
Haha yes, I will get my M3 this thursday! I'm so excited.

Concerning the Supercharger, I don't really need them near my house in Laval, but always nice to see the network expanding... The location I mentionned are very well placed, might need them someday in winter times.

I also imagine that if they appear on Tesla website, there should be some project defined in a precised location. There's multiple reasons that could delay the installation of SC, but some folk may know more details about these locations.

This thread is a bust, a mod should close it.

Superchargers installed at IGA Extra, Marché Tellier, Saint-Jérôme, QC ;)
Not yet operational but it looks like they might be available soon.
