Great writeup Cattledog! Is it just me or is your license plate frame blinged out? :) I guess it could just be water droplets...

You didn't document the blue pointer's assessment. Does he/she think it's a mutt?

I'm a little bit country, she's (Tesla's) a little bit rock and roll...

Wow. Maybe you caught me in a "weak" moment but what a great blog post. I actually got emotional. Really, really nice.

    Nice story.

(Mod note: Updated the thread title to be just a teeny bit more descriptive!)

Cattledog, thanks for the excellent write up. I really like the way your pictures capture the beauty of your car. May I ask what is your complete configuration?

Fantastic write-up...thanks for sharing! I'm sure you've shown your wife the Model X pics that popped up today from the Detroit show. It looks REALLY good! On a side note, my Dad has a mostly restored 21-window 1963 VW Microbus. It'll be in the family forever and it's always fun to see other people have a connection to VW.

"It is the single most enthralling thing I have ever owned. By orders and orders of magnitude."

This priceless and some version of it seems to be in just about every report I read!!!

A moderator will have to make that determination, I am but a junior poster on this thread Al, one measly green square like you. But in a Model S - the universe is ours! Yes, it took a few minutes, but it worked. It was dsm's idea way back when we had a party for his delivery, though at the time we were thinking that someone's friend my reserve from their Model S.

Maybe we'll order a Gen3 from the X from our kids!
