Do you experience any of these?

1. Sweaty palms when accelerating, followed by a panic attack: I don’t have enough power, should have waited for performance version…..

2. No more skiing, no AWD….

3. No more long trips planned, not enough range, AWD will have longer range…

4. I only have one motor, that makes me half the person I used to be.

If you do, you have NPAD (Non-Performance Anxiety Disorder).

Treatments are limited:

1. Upgrade to AWD, performance M3. Expensive treatment.

2. Sell your non-performance, get E-bike. Pretend you are true environmentalist. Modest cost.

3. Keep it, get a AWD decal. Make extra effort to drive fast. Low cost option.

Any other ideas for treatment? We need help.

Honestly, as a California owner who has my car for 3 weeks i'm happy with saving some money. I would've probably gotten the AWD, but that's really a luxury here in the Bay Area.

The 3 is plenty fast and most drivers will never use the full potential of it.
The most important thing is the tax credit. $7500 saved is the most important piece. If you can get that plus AWD, you are lucky.
