I swapped my Model S for a Lincoln this morning. The Lincoln just had some things the Tesla didn't. My windshield stress cracked and I just couldn't live with it. 19" turbine wheels Nice blue/green flecked metallic black color Cup holders that don't suck, and a center console to hide my trash. Real headlamp controls Lots of buttons on the steering wheel, there is an identical set on the other side. A real screen. The one on the Model S is too big. Floor mats that don't suck, and actually attach to the floor and don't flop down. A spare tire A thinner key fob, with buttons that don't have plastic circles fall out of it.
key fob to be honest I like the look of the key fob with all the buttons missing it matches the black P leather piping are you planning on keeping the Lincoln? seems like such a 'complete' car
I promise you everything I said in my original post is 100% true. (Except the part about the 17" screen being too big, it really isn't).
And I swapped back for my Model S today. Auto brights don't work worth a crap. I was blinding people, and the car kept turning of my brights on pitch black roads with the Lincoln MKS. The sun visors were about 3x bigger than the Model S's, and the back seats were nicer. But it couldn't hold a candle to the Model S.
Never said they were good. It was actually quite bad. The buttons you actually wanted to press were on the bottom and harder to press. I do want a knob/buttons for headlamps though. Tesla whiffed on the headlamp control IMO.
Interesting. I've haven't missed the headlamp controls at all in the last 14 months. I guess we have DRL in Canada though...
