Swapping audio sub/amp out of LR into an SR+? Possible?

Ok so not sure if this was ever asked or posted. Can a amp/sub from a 2018 LR model 3 be swapped out into an 2021 SR+ M3? Just curious!

I’m assuming wiring harness, amp/sub and quite a bit of labour?
I’m the end would be cheaper to probably just get an after market solution for the SR+

It’s not possible to use the factory amp without editing the vehicle configuration using Tesla’s toolbox software. It’s linked to the main computer using an encrypted A2B connection.

I see thanks. Bottom line that encryption cannot be modified. Only option is to upgrade aftermarket the SR+. I find the audio system severely lacking compared to the LR.

To be 100% clear, you can use the factory sub, but it needs to be powered with an aftermarket sub. @todd2fst4u is "extremely familiar" with doing just that.

Currently some of the best information you can find about Model 3 audio systems. Travis added a subwoofer to his LR with premium audio, but also analyzed the system.
