Ummm... good call. I hadn't noticed that. I'm not a moderator here, although I am on another forum, and it's one of the regular chores - trying to get all the identical topic discussion into the one right thread. Keeps things focused. Oh well, not my concern.
As of March 17, 2019 this STILL hasn't been fixed. I'm guessing it will be fixed when those of us that have FSD get the HW3 upgrade and FSD has much more capabilities.
There's nothing to "fix"- it works exactly as described in the manual.
If you want it to set to"current" speed the best way to do that is put a -20 offset in the settings....do that and as long as you're not driving more than 20 below whatever it thinks the speed limit is, it'll set your TACC speed to your current speed.
That's why I said 'figure out'. The difference is that the stalk in the S and X pushes backward, like the turn-signal/lights/washer stalk in the 3. Not having that in the 3, the suggestion has been made repeatedly here and elsewhere that a half-press of the stalk would make a good substitute.
