Anyone having weirdness setting cruise control or using the TACC stalk after the latest update? Since I got it, I click into the stalk to turn on TACC and am now, most often, just getting the set-car-length page, rather than turning it on or off. After several presses it seems to sort out and I get the arrow on the speedometer and can set it, but it's weird.

Anyone else?

OK thanks. The fact that at least one other is seeing it points to SOME kind of software weirdness.

Unfortunately I'm away from my road rocket for the next 2 weeks on business, I'll come back and see if I can put together some more symptoms for a bug report. Please let me know if you can reliably make it happen / not happen.

i had a hard time turning on my cruise control today. I updated last night.

I am updating right now after it failed to update last night for the first time. I had to reboot both the center and IP to get everything working right this am after the failure. All seems right now. After reading the OP, I'll keep my eye out for this.

I've never had it fail to complete a scheduled update before. Curious as to whether others have.

I think I see what you're talking about.

When you click the button to turn it on, on the display it shows you your current setting of "car lengths"? If that's new, that's great, I like it. If that was there before, then my TACC is acting just like it did before the update.

I'm confused. You don't press (click) a button to turn TACC on...You pull the stalk toward you (or push it up or down).

You press the button to turn TACC on or off.

You pull (like flashing high beams) the stalk to engage it. And you push (like turning on high beams) the stalk to disengage it. You push (like a turn signal) it up to add speed (1 or 5 mph), you push (like a turn signal) it down to drop the speed (1 or 5mph).

It has an on/off function accessed by pushing the end button. It used to toggle a light on the stalk, but they turned that off. Personally, I leave it in "on" mode all the time, so I've not experienced this new behavior.

It also turns on/off the triangle that sets your speed (when you turn it on, it places that triangle at 0mph).

That's not the behavior I got before the update.

The tip of the stalk button (depress inward) turned the cruise system on and off. The directional bumps, as described above, worked that way. Twisting the stalk increased/decreased the car length setting. Now. SOMETIMES I get on/off, sometimes it brings up the car length display. It's definitely screwy.

Like the Always On thought from above, perhaps I'll just do that when I get home.

Ah, I gotchya. I get consistent behavior with the on/off button (I played with it on the way to work today).
