Proper name would be South Lake Tahoe Supercharger. There are already a pair of locations in the North Lake area.

Wow! Awesome! Thanks for sharing members. Just booked our stay at Squaw Valley this coming weekend and planning to head down to South Lake Tahoe on our way back next Sunday. Will try to stop by and get some updates. Great news!

Very big news. I'm thrilled to see this so far along. We have been talking about South Lake Tahoe for a long while in this forum.

Minor sadness is that it's in a covered parking garage. Makes it more difficult if I'm hauling the Airstream is all.

Sweet!!! This removes a major obstacle when traveling to SLT. Previously, I had to top off in Truckee and take the long (but very scenic) road around the west side of the lake. This is perfect, way to go Tesla!

It's faster to go around the east side of the lake. Highway 50 is two lanes each way when you hit it at spooner summit all of the way around to Stateline. Yeah, I used to crawl around Emerald Bay behind campers doing 15mph, too, until someone pointed this out to me.

Yes, definitely faster, but often I find myself choosing less distance over less time to maximize range.

Certainly would have been preferable to have it located close to the 'Y', but considering how long people have been waiting for any SC at the south end of the lake, it's a big step forward.

Uh, yea, but when it shows up in the Tesla, it will be listed as StateLine SC.

The proper name is definitely "Stateline." South Lake Tahoe is a different city, albeit just a few blocks away. It will definitely be listed as "Supercharger-Stateline, NV" when it goes live on Tesla's site.

I've requested a mod change the thread title to be just that.

Just for interest's sake, there once was an unincorporated "State Line" Nevada (two words), but because of continuing confusion with this Stateline, it was renamed in 1996 to "Primm." There's an existing Supercharger in Primm too, which adds to the coincidence a bit.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Much needed as I had to steal charging from the Coachman Hotel couple of times.
