Tail light lens

So the tail light lens (plastic cover over the tail light) popped off (not while driving luckily).

But now I can't seem to reattach it. Do I need an entirely new tail light or what are my options?

Sorry, I haven’t seen it off myself but the remedy on other manufacturers ligtht would be to glue it back. There are special lens glue available, similar to silicone used by builders that can stand outside environment. Remember to clean the light prior to fix as this is vital to have success. I would take special care at edges to make sure it will be waterproof.
