Tail Light Outer LEDs Not Working

Hello,

Has anyone experienced the outer LEDs in their tail lights (the 3 little LEDs close the charging port) not working while the rest of the tail light is functioning perfectly? This is on the drivers side. Everything works great on the opposite side.

If yes, is this and easy fix or do I need to replace that part of the tail light?

Yup both of mine do that. It doesn't really bother me so I haven't replaced them or looked into the problem.

I agree. I think I'd rather have both not working (like in your case) than working only in one side.

Well since you can't see both sides at the same time no one should notice.....

I did not pay attention to those LEDs light, but I just did something fun

I noticed the little lights on the driver side flicker after driving in the rain. They went out for a while and then 2 came back.

I asked a tech about it and he mentioned the driver side being a bit more challenging due to the high voltage connection there and the need to realign the charge port cover.

It doesn't bother me enough to do something about just yet.
