After parking my MY in the Tesla service centre for a scheduled service appointment last week, the wind kicked up and blew the neighbouring construction site's unsecured gate into the hatch,(see screen grabs from Tesla video below) leaving a significant dent. As seen below.
The Tesla service centre manager tried to help, but told me, "The construction company is very reluctant to claim liability" (read between the lines- I can imagine the flurry of curses that descended on his ears from the foreman). So far, the service centre manager, my insurance company and I have been stonewalled by the construction company. Apart form a seemingly inevitable small claims court date, what are my options? Any helpful advice is much appreciated.
