Take delivery in Fremont in cash. Pay now on website or ACH there?

So Tesla website says I should now pay for my Thursday delivery in Fremont.

"Please pay off your remaining balance prior to delivery" Tesla"

The amount is large, ~$80k. I heard they can take ACH payment on delivery, I would rather do that there on Thursday instead of paying now.

Can anyone verify if this should be ok?

I will do ACH at fremont too. Too many quality control items to be paying before delivery.

Right, when I picked up my model 3, I was told that I could do the ACH payment there. (I had already brought my checkbook instead so I didn't bother with it)

Paying later gives you a bit of leverage, just in case.

We picked up and paid by cashier’s check handy at Fremont Delivery Center.

I don’t know about doing an ACH there. Just go with a cashiers check. Worked fine for me.

I just placed my order as well. If I’m going to be financing, should I be applying for loans right now even though my loan amount isn’t 100% confirmed since I don’t know specifically my total price of the car? I am expecting delivery late-September. And with any financing, I am going to be considered paying in cash, correct?
