Taptes Wireless Phone Charger Pad

I got an early Christmas present, the Taptes Wireless Phone Charger Pad.
Got to say im a huge fan at under $50 right now for a well built dual phone wireless charger. Super easy to swap out. I was having a hard time getting my phone to line up with the plug due to my thicker case. Now I can just drop it in place and go.

I have one too. Works perfectly. 7.5W to each side using splitter cables.

Still working like a charm. I'm running it with a powerbank to keep up with full speed charging as well as USB splitting for TeslaCam.

Based on my experience, I'm highly doubtful to USB splitters will provide 7.5w. Maybe I'm wrong though. Guess it's time to test with a power meter.

Mine just stopped working... The red light flashes continuously and it is not charging the phone... Anyone else experiencing this?? It had been working fabulously..

You need a USB splitter/hub. Ever since a recent firmware update, a few wireless pads stopped working without a splitter/hub.

This issue has been fixed in firmware 2019.12.1.1 (I just tested it). The Taptes now works without a splitter/hub/"USB condom" again.

I have the Taptes pad and love it. Just wish I could get it to fast charge my S9+. I haven't been able to find a power bank that supports passthrough fast charging.

New update fixed the wireless charging issue.

The Tesla Update fixed my charging issue as well... It appears it was the software not the charger.. So happy to have it back...

I suspected this as it works on USB chargers.

Not likely.....unless you can arrange the metal plate so that it doesn't cover the portion of the phone that has the charger in it. Typically that is the middle of the phone, so hard to get the metal plate in a position where it isn't blocking.

I just got mine in the mail today. I too have a metal plate on the back of my phone and the charger worked fine in my first test. I position the plate as low as it can possibly go. YMMV but so far so good for me.

Hm, this listing actually says "In stock" for me right now. But it's $5 more expensive than usual (perhaps because it includes splitter cables?).
