Not True. I have a restraining order in CA just need to print out papers and have them served along with submitting the court cost for the restraining order.
This can back fire an attorney told me if the judge does not allow. You need petty vigilante justice to fight pettiness. Maybe do the same to his dad’s car at 3am.
I’m curious what crime you all think is being committed here? What is it exactly you’d have the police charge this kid with? Not damaging a car on the street?
Curious, what's the appropriate response since the police can't help and parents won't do anything about it? I guess just wait until the kid gets brave and runs a key down the side of his car to the metal across all panels costing $10,000 to repair and then go after them?
Unfortunately, until the kid does something that actually results in damages, there isn't anything OP can actually (reasonably or legally) do. The only good thing that would come out of this is that OP has video footage of the event and his insurance will go after the father for reimbursement.
I would avoid parking in near their house even if it means a little longer walk.
Things like this seem so easy to solve. If you had no reaction, then his behavior would fatigue. He is responding to your reaction and laughing all the way.
Interesting. I assumed that a police report and a trail of evidence would be required by the court before issuing a restraining order. What the heck did you do to deserve a restraining order so fast!
