Thanks! We're not doing anything quite that adventurous, we're going to Wynyard for the tulip festival, Lake St Claire, Hobart, then back up to Launceston. Already got most of the accommodation booked, all with destination chargers!

Enjoy the Wynyard coastal pods. Very cool, we had a great few days there.

You can leave the Chademo adaptor at home (unless of course you are travelling other parts of the country as well)!

Always do.
Even if I don’t need a charge I make a point of using it, discussing the car, asking how many customers come because of the charger etc.

For those who ask "I'm coming to Tassie, where can I charge in Hobart?" and were understandably disappointed by the answer "Hobart Central Car Park ... but only via J1772 and only on weekdays"...

Plugshare - Macquarie Point Car Park

1x Tesla destination charger and 1x Type 2 socket.

Sadly I can't yet confirm if it is 7kW or 22kW (or something in between) but I can confirm it is accessible 24/7!

I don't think there are reserved bays but it seems there is a long cord on the destination charger so it should reach a large number of spaces. I'm not here that often - usually weeknights and weekends - and the car park isn't that busy at those times so hopefully it may help. I hope to check it out in person on the weekend!
