Tein coilovers and larger tires installed MYP

Had Tein coilovers installed and also swapped out my stock summer tires for all seasons. Due to limited stock on tires, I went with Pirelli Scorpion Zero 265/40/21 front and 295/35/21 rear.

Prior to upgrading the tires, I was running 20mm spacers. Due to the larger tires, I had to take the spacers off because there was a lot of rubbing in the front. Without the spacers, I have no more rubbing.

Ride quality has been great at the dampening setting that was recommended by Tein. Waiting to get an alignment this week.

Coilovers purchased from Zevcentric

Nice looking MYP. What dampening setting did they recommend? Any change in ride height? I have been looking at these. I don't want to change ride height though.
They recommended right in the middle. 8 from stiffest setting. It’s 16 ways adjustable. You can change the ride height which I did. Pretty sure you can keep the stock height

Did you lower the ride height. In the description for Tien Flex Z - they say

***On the Model 3 or Y you will want to lower the vehicle at least 1" to achieve the optimal ride quality.***
Is that for LR? I have a P and it already sits low. My mud flaps scrape everytime I go over a speed bump. If anything I might want to lift it ,6" to bring it to LR ride height. I most definitely don't want to lower it more.

I don’t see Model Y showing up Flex Z on Tein USA site. It’s showing Only for Model 3 … for Model Y - it’s showing Endura Plus for 22.06 (assuming post June delivery)

If you look at the site, it says they are out of stock for the model Y. If I’m not mistaken, model and and Y are the same part number. Either way if I’m wrong, ZEVCENTRIC has them on their website

We have them as well:

If you are on a budget looking for bit more comfortable ride, these will fit the bill. For those who are a bit more spirited in their driving, I would opt for the MPP, KW or Ohlins kits instead.

zevcentric has the Teins FlexZ with the auto adjuster EDAC with GPS that provides dynamic damping. It seems to have the capability to dynamically change damping based on vehicle speed. Has anyone tried it ?
