I am getting ready to tow our Bowlus Road Chief with our 2016 Model X 90D for the first time and tried to adjust the trailer brake today.
The instructions say to increase the power setting until the manual override locks up the trailer brakes then back it down, but I was not able to lock it up all the way to max (13V).
Adding Boost level 1 makes the whole rig feel grabby and not smooth, so it feels like I should turn off Boost and lower the power.
Does the Model X require a different way setting up brake controllers? Does regen affect ideal trailer brake settings?
