Can't wait to get mine delivered this Thursday. The Wal-Mart specials in there now don't provide full coverage, and weather conditions here have been very messy.

Me too! I may need to work on the left side of my driver side mat, but definitely happy with them. The grip on the velcro is extremely strong so it's hard to move them around once you've put them down.

Would you consider giving us an update after you have used these mats for several months? I am a little worried about buying these mats based on what I see at

Just installed mine but the drivers mat is popping out from the side like the video. How do I mold it back in place??
Same issue on mine where the sides are not flat and bunches up. Hoping when it warms up that it'll straighten out or I'll try to give them a little heat to mold correctly.

I think it really depends on where you position the mat (where the velcro is placed). If you have it too far from the side molding (even by 1/4 inch) it can pop out...Try repositioning a bit
Notice the picture above how CMdrThor's positioning does not have the sides under the molding

Still have it popping out from the drivers left side, can't fix it. Should I just leave it?

@K-MTG, that gap is intentional. It's meant for the soon-to-be-released WeatherTech Mat Sunshade™.
Mine bunches up too, I don't like it.. looks dumb. Im going to return mine. Not as high quality as other mats I have had.

I still like them better than the lloyds but obviously $200 is overpriced, I expect perfection at this price point.

I'll take a picture of how crummy the ones I got look -- it'll make you feel better. I'd return mine if I didn't dislike the look of the alternatives so much.

Is it just mine that has an issue or is this a design flaw? How is Tesla resolving the problem for you? Are they gonna replace it? If so, do you have to pay the return shipping. I will probably just take mine to the SC but I doubt they have any more in stock and they will likely claim my mats are "under specs". I will wait a few more days and hopefully the mats will fix themselves, if not I am contacting Tesla.

Might try a hair dryer on them to see if you can reshape it. I have not installed mine yet, but if they have the same problem, that is what I will do.

I just don't like the looks of the loyds or tough pros (I think those were the two common recommendations). So I'm stuck with the overpriced ill-fitting ones from Tesla.
And I can't even get ones for the rear of the car. And EAP sux.
And one of my FWD's creaks.
Try tucking the edge under the door molding...Then it looks and fits great....and no water/debris can get between the door jamb and the matt.
Look closely at the initial pictures of the thread...
