Wait...don’t the Model Y already comes with a charging pad ? Or these are better ones I’m guessing ?

Yes, all new Model 3 and all Model Y comes with wireless charger. But, bigger phones like Samsung Note 20 Ultra or iPhone 12 Pro Max have a hard time fitting into the space and charge consistently. I believe Temai charger have additional charging coil so you can place/charge your phone in landscape.

Installed both the phone hold and the charging pad. Phone holder is spot on beautiful. Works perfectly and looks factory made. The charging pad works perfectly you could almost Throw your phone on there and it works every time. Only issue I couldn’t figure out is Why it ships with (2) same USB C to 2.0 usb connector? Why two and as this is a model Y and more the likely the USB 2 is already taken where are you supposed to plug the USB Y into? Seems like a Y splitter USB C three way would be a more usable solution. Had to temporarily remove my memory stick for now.

Received Temai phone mount & activated carbon air filter few weeks ago.
Here's an overview of the phone mount. Ordered the item on Wednesday and it was shipped out the next morning and I received it on Saturday (and free shipping!). The latest flagship phones are getting larger, like iPhone 12 Pro Max or Samsung Note 20 Ultra, it is annoying and hard to squeeze my phone into the center console opening. I have to angle Note 20 Ultra at a specific angle and wiggle it to ensure it aligns properly with the wireless coil. And lots of time the phone doesn't even charge properly. Another issue I have is poor cellular receptions when placing it in the center console and the wireless charger ledge blocks software buttons at the bottom of the screen. There are several phone holders that mounts on the center media screen, but I don't find them attractive and I don't like how they look from outside in.
The phone mount came in a nice package and instruction. It snaps between the air vents and I was afraid that it won't work for me. I have installed aftermarket ABS dash cover thus the dashboard is bit thicker/taller. But, I have no trouble installing it. Temai phone holder is made with quality plastic and the color matches well with the rest of Model Y interior. There's a ball joint at the back that allows you to pivot the phone holder to a different angle. I also like the weighted sprint mechanism: when you place your phone on the bottom edge, the left/right side clamps will close and grab onto your phone. That also means you can't mount your phone horizontally. Also, I wish there's a way to install another piece so the phone is closer to me.
Overall, Temai phone holder is a high quality aftermarket accessory. If you are looking for another option to place your phone for Model 3/Y, definitely check it out!
