Over in this thread where @Chris007 ran a 10.6 1/4 mile and posted a video, something jumped out at me: his energy display shows a purple arc with temperature indicators, on the opposite side of the kW arc:

When did this happen? Is it just for certain models? And what temperature is it actually displaying?

I believe it's just for performance models and displays the battery temperature. If you watch some of the more recent Drag Times videos, you can see it there as well.

It can be seen here after about 4:50:

I have a 'performance' model and want this!~temperature changes the performance behavior of a P85 very substantially!
come on Tesla, don't leave us out of everything. It's not like this is one of those promised 'hardware' upgrades

Thanks. I'm kinda bummed that my P85 doesn't show this arc, but most likely it doesn't have those sensors so there's nothing to display.

Interesting...so maybe it's only the P100 that has it? I don't have a performance model so I can't say which models have it...just that I've seen it in some videos on YouTube.

There is a quite a bit of temperature info even for the P85, pretty sure it can be done.

It's currently only available on the P100D with the easter egg.

I think it kinda suck because ALL THE PACKS have tons of temp modules and reading data (as seen with TMspy)..

would be nice if all owners could see this on the dash.

I'd be happy with the interior cabin temperature appearing somewhere to go along with the digital thermostats. That's something all models could use.
