Hi I was wondering what the best temporary front license plate solution is. I only want to put it on when I'm going to be parking in the city. Is there a product that is fast and easy to remove?
I am looking for the same. Someone posted about this one a while back. I think I'm going to give it a shot. http://ccmustangbrackets.com/product/universal-front-license-plate-bracket/
I would also planning to do the same since I'm in California as well. Thinking of buying The Bandit. https://www.1975creations.com/product-page/tesla-model-3-front-license-plate-bracket Price: $119.00 Easy to install and you can attach and remove the license plate at any time.
Sto 'n Sho - $95 Sto 'n Sho Aftermarket Front Plate Holder Install (+ pics) 2017-2018 Tesla Model 3 (SNS145)
I plan on going without until I need to. I’m in CA, but prefer to go without. I’ve been ticketed before, but just attach it, get it signed off, pay the $25 or what not, then take it back off. Only been ticketed once. Otherwise, I try to avoid standing out or speeding too much.
Rocking the Sto n' Sho...I keep in in the Frunk and parked at the Presidio in SF on Saturday..popped it on and went on my merry little way.
Suction cups. Really. I have detailed instructions for a Model S solution, been using it for years without a problem. Yet another (crazy) front plate solution
I was looking at this option but worried that a high curb may rip the bracket off or severly damage it since it is attached under the bumper. Have you had any issues with this. I would like an option where the bracket is attached with 3M. Waiting for more reviews on the ccMustang bracket.
Why is this more of an issue when parking? Do folks get ticketed for missing front plates while parked?
Apparently from what I’ve read here the parking enforcement people in San Francisco have a hard on for issuing tickets for a missing front mounted plate.
Fantastic! Definitely using this when my 3 comes, thanks for the photos! Four suction cups will suck 33% more than the three suction cups I used on my S!
Love this idea. What size drill bit did you use to make those holes for the suction cups? Also, are these the ones you purchased? https://www.amazon.com/Cruiser-Accessories-78410-Suction-Accessory/dp/B00032KBEA
Yeah those are the ones I used. Any suction cups should work though. Not sure the size of the drill bit. I just chose the one I had that was the closest size to the back of the suction cups.
