My 2016 Model X has the dreaded yellow border. HW2. I got service appointment for 2 weeks ago and when I show up for service they say sorry, machine is broken. Of course they didn’t call. Tech offered to do HW3 when I came back in a week later to fix screen. I show up today and they say oh, the tool is broken. I was visibly upset. Asked about HW3 and she said no I wasn’t on the list yet.
I’ve got a deposit on Model Y but really want to buy another X with all the updates but no way will I buy another Tesla if they can’t get their service figured out and also resolve the upgrade on HW3.
She’s calling back today. Not sure why. I’m really disappointed.
