That's not true. Cheapest model 3 is 39,900 right now. Plus 3750 tax credit. Cheapest 3 series 40,250 MSRP. Granted you are unlikely to pay the full MSRP, but you aren't getting 5k off sticker on a base 3.

There is the 2 series and CLA. Both are around or under $35k.

That's what the 3 is with the tax credit. Either way, a grand or two doesn't mean that one is for rich people and one isn't.

People are strange, Awhile who I revived an anonymous letter in the mail claiming that a tenant in one of my rental properties had a major bed bug problem. I had the unit inspected and no problem was found. Then an anonymous report to the city health department led to a city inspection and they found nothing. Turned out the tenants daughter didn’t like this persons kid anymore so the parent got angry and tried to start trouble with false accusations. I wouldn’t worry about the letter probably just some salty person.
