I've had my Model 3 since March this year, and only had minor quibbles with the phone app on my Motorola moto g(6) phone. But since the last app update, I couldn't find the app in the app store. Looked it up online to see that Google Play says the app is now no longer compatible with my phone.

Has this happened to anyone else? Do we know if this is going to be permanently incompatible?

If the Tesla app for the Android version is not compatible on some phones, use the lucky patcher to make it more compatible on your phone.

Thanks for the advice. I eventually learned that this problem was caused by Tesla adding NFC support to the app (and accidentally excluding all phones without NFC). They did release a version of the app without the NFC requirement, so my moto g6 was able to make use of the app again.
