Tesla App not working

Anyone else having issues with their phone app? Last 2 days it just says error and will not update. I signed out of app and back in and says unknown error.

I can get in and out of the car just fine but no app access.

Works okay for me. On android. Maybe reinstall?

Yes me too. I deleted the app and then reloaded it and it seems to be updated. Now I can log in and it works.

Thanks, just tried deleting and reinstalling and still not working. I’ll try contacting Tesla and see what’s up.

I'm having the same problem. Logging out/in, deleting and reinstalling, disabling 2FA all fail to resolve the problem. @sacredzero , if you figure it out, please let us know!

Saw that this morning; said it had updated. Rebooted the phone, and it was fine.

A few times, coincidentally when I needed it the most, the stupid thing just froze on me. But it's been working okay lately. Just tried it now, and as always, it's slow to wake up the car, but at least normal slow, meaning waiting like a minute or so.

My app started working yesterday without any effort on my part. It launched immediately to the usual home screen and all is well.

Tesla has been migrating its authentication to a new, more robust, and standards based mechanism. They’ve been moving users and regions in groups. It’s possible you got caught up in that switch.

One thing I noticed is the SOBs forced me to enable my 'cookies'; I wasn't happy about that.

This morning my vehicle was connected via Bluetooth to my phone, but when I got to work and began charging my battery, I went to the app to lock the car from outside it, app wanted my email and password. Then it gave me this message which it has given me repeatedly today: "Sign-in Failed. Server did not return expected authentication parameters. Please try later." Does this look at all familiar to anyone?
