Tesla app on a 2nd phone

Apologies as this has probably been covered before....??

I know I can add a tesla app to a 2nd phone but is it possible to turn off location........

yeah yeah yeah you lot before you put 2+2 together and start making 5!! If I'm at the golf course I might not want the gestapo knowing I'm staying for a few beers when I should be doing something..... else etc etc

Don’t think that possible unless you turn off mobile connectivity and remote access in the car entirely which would stop it working on both phones. Sorry!

well, quite simple:
just disable the data connection on the phone which you do not want to be tracked.

but car has own data tracking... which cannot be turned off - unless you wrap a tin foil all around right side mirror (which has LTE antenna) if I am not mistaken.

or disconnect the GPS antenna which is at the rear view mirror hub, near front facing camera

You could create another account on the Tesla website and use that on your second phone. Not sure I understand the need for this if you're going for a few beers. Surely you won't have the car with you if you are drinking?
