Tesla App Updated 19 May

For those who may not have checked recently, iTunes has a new version of the Tesla app.

Apparently no major changes as iTunes says only:

What's "new" is the loot box at the top right. Clicking on it will take you to the referral section. I everything else seems to be similar to before.

Correct. The new issue of Tesla Weekly (issue 139) states:

The mobile app now shows an icon at the top right corner (like a treasure chest icon) that links to show you the status of how many referrals have come in with your referral link. This is something that was taken out when they updated their app previously but now has been added back in. And it's another gentle encouragement by Tesla for owners to take advantage of the referral program.

I also notice a Home icon that activates my Homelink in the Summons page. Was that always there?

Yes the $1000 referral message you send is all the motivation your contacts need to dump 80-100 grand into a car

I think that is also new. I was playing with it and realized I was opening and closing the garage door from inside my house.

It's been there... It only shows when you are within range of the garage.
