Tesla App with Cricket Wireless

Does the Tesla app work on Cricket Wireless for anyone on iPhone?

It hasn’t worked for a few months for me. There was another thread where it didn’t work on ATT (ATT owns Cricket) but it seems to have been fixed on ATT, but not Cricket.


Works fine for me on any Wifi Network, but not when using the Cellular Connection. STATS the 3rd party app, works just fine as well.

ATT is one of the largest cellular providers in the US. If the tesla app "didnt work on ATT" there would likely be thousands of people saying something. I have had the tesla app on my work ATT iPhone since December of 2018 and other than a couple of nationwide hiccups that everyone experienced at the same time (related to tesla not ATT) there is zero issue with the tesla app on ATT.

I would suggest to you that you might need to check your iPhone settings, but there is no isue with the tesla app working on any cellular network at a root level. The only issue could be coverage where you specifically are.

You should call Cricket technical support and ask if they are blocking certain firewall ports, or have any restrictions. Especially Mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) riding on prime carriers network (ATT/Cricket, Verizon/Visible). There is a reason why the MVNO's are cheaper.

Still not working on Cricket Wireless. Can anyone else confirm that the native Tesla App works or does not work on Cricket?
