Is anybody else having trouble with the App? "Waking Up" is taking several minutes and I know it's not my wifi. It seems to be the only app on my iphone that is struggling.
Another tip... Don't force quit the Tesla App. Always leave it running in the background on your iPhone. I'm the type I like to swipe up and close out apps I'm not actively using. But the Tesla app works best if it's open in the background.
My app has always taken a year and a day to connect. It REALLY sucked this morning. Had to delete an reinstall it, then it still wouldnt connect for a while. (iOS). It generally sucks a$s on reconnecting.
Mine has been doing this since an update or two ago. It doesn’t matter if I’m on my car or Home Energy Gateway screen — sometimes, it just fails to connect. If I return to the app later, it’s back to normal. Since it seems to affect connectivity to both the car and the gateway, I’ve assumed it’s a bug in the app. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
