NEW TIME FOR THE P90D RACE!! Time has been changed to around 1:30PM instead on both days. Hoping for good weather too!

Yes, good weather is essential. A damp or wet runway has no effect on the jet's acceleration, but it sure does affect the P90D's.

Turned to not be a race. Just the P90D(L) doing a "speed run" 0 - 160 when he pasted center stage.

So it was just a speed test at the air show with the Blue P90DL racing down the runway to 155 mph. I took a video but it's hard seeing the car in the beginning since it was so far away. The best view is after the blue Angels. Note that the car reached 155mph long before it passed the parked jets. It was weird how quiet it was speeding down the runway! The Tesla crew said they got better video, including the car while driving and would pass the links on once posted.

It looks like you could have driven there with your blue 70d.
when I said "Navigate to Kaneohe Marine Corps Base" it gave me directions to "Kanye West" at the Hollywood bowl, Los Angeles, CA. Good thing I didn't take that right turn:biggrin:

Maybe you needed to use the Lotus Esprit submarine app.
