Lex Fridman of MIT is conducting a survey of autopilot users. Lex teaches a course called "Deep Learning for Self Driving Cars", which includes a comprehensive list of speakers, leaders in the field of autonomous vehicles. The lectures are available online, selfdrivingcars.mit.edu.

Please consider filling it out his survey, even if you do not have or use autopilot.

I just took the survey. I am curious to see some of the results.

My favorite lecture, from the that MIT course, "Deep Learning for Self Driving Cars",
was Lecture #2, titled "Self-Driving Cars", on Jan 9th 2018, given by Lex himself.

    Lex summarizes the entire topic:
    - The problem (35+ thousand traffic related US fatalities / year)
    - The technology (sensors, controls, deep-learning)
    - The environment (traffic, pedestrians, traffic lights, weather, lighting)
    - The players (Tesla, Waymo, Uber, ...)
    - The people (we are expert drivers, when we are not distracted)
    - The machine (how much safer is enough: 2X, 10X ?)
    - The acceptance (is it ok if machines kill?)
