"TESLA" Badging for Model 3

I saw a Red Model 3 online with the "TESLA" badging and want that so bad! I have exhausted google searches for finding out where to purchase or have made the word "TESLA" like the pic below. The service center was of no help. Please help me. I think it would look so much better to remove the T in the rear and replace with TESLA.

That would be Franz' car. I think whatever Franz wants in terms of accoutrements for his Model 3, Franz gets.

The T E S L A badging is not available to the general public at this time. I'm sure aftermarket will offer it for sale at some time in the future. Watch this space.

Probably where they got the lettering, some Roadster parts. I believe aftermarket will make stuff like this over time.

What about the application of them? Do you have the TESLA font that matches the red model 3?

Although I'm planning to leave mine plain, I must say that the tailgate appliqué is tastefully done, comes in a choice of finishes/colors and is priced attractively. Very nice.

I like it as well, although I think it could be just bit wider vertically and it looks like applique has curvature such that the lettering is facing somewhat down. Looks bit strange like that.

Any solutions to get the TESLA font in chrome letters like the picture here? I really didn't think this would be hard to do? But so far no-one seems to have a good answer to match the look.

I could cut these out of mirror-backed acrylic on my laser cutter. Assuming some removable adhesive is available, this would be fairly easy to make.

I can't tell from the picture, but given Tesla's past the letters may not be the same size as the model X or S.

After cutting out the letters, 3D printing them or machining them from Aluminum, you would have to fixture the letter and apply double sided tape. That way you can transfer them to the trunk lid. Sound simple, but is a little more difficult then that.

The lighted rear "T" for the model 3 should be available in a couple of weeks. Just starting production now, Still looking for
someone that wants to be the first install. The lighted "T" will be available in Chrome, Flat Black and Multi Coat Red.

I use 3M PT1100 to attach the rear applique to the trunk. You can also purchase 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus # 6383.
I buy that in 20 YD rolls 7/8 in wide..

Interesting stuff, looks like a lot less cutting and trimming. Expensive though

Right now we have appliques for the model X and S, nothing for the 3. Any Model 3 owner wish to say what they
are will to pay for a lighted rear appliqué. A light rear "T" should be out soon, that's our soon not Tesla's soon.

Got my own "badging" to the embarrassment of my wife. Just secured the Maryland personalized license plate STARMAN for my red Model 3. She's right, of course.
