Three months until my 85D delivery.. starting to plan ahead. Usual stuff, the charging station, thinking about solar panels, wondering how many brownies we have to sell to cover the downpayment..

Anyone else scouring the attic for junk to sell to make room in the piggy bank for the new car? And on this subject, does anybody want to buy a like-new condition kidney? One owner, all highway miles.

Keep the kidney, I'll take a couple of brownies though.

I'll buy some brownies just as long as there's no weed in them

The wait is LOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGG........ 2 months for us. We will pick it up our P85 Pearl White tomorrow at the Tesla Factory in Fremont.

This forum has kept me sane for the past 2 months.... It's like AA support group.

Alright - I've got magazine subscriptions and wrapping paper for sale, all proceeds go towards the Tesla Financial Assistance eco5280 Fund for Driving Excellence, or NAMBLA.

For the price of a cup of coffee you can help one family realize their dream of driving a premium luxury vehicle.

I'd add giant bows to your inventory to help out all these P85D people that are going to be taking delivery around Christmas.

Ahh!!! It's happening! Anyone need any odd jobs done? Lawn mowing? Whittling a likeness of your wife for Valentine's Day out of artificial ivory?

Waiting is half the fun...literally. How'd you spec your car?

Started with a 60D with nothing but Tech. Ended up with an 85D with tech, obeche matte, and cold weather.

I'm going into panic mode that the X will be released within a few months and I'll seriously regret this decision. Cold feet approaching absolute Kelvin :p Of course, if I don't get the S it will be another year and I'll regret not having the Tesla that whole time. I have a solution - someone else buy this car, let me drive it until my X comes, and I'll let you hang out with my kids a few times a month; they're very cute. Totally worth it.

I was not aware that it was ever possible to order a "60D".

They were offered for about a month - from the D announcement until the Q3 earnings call. However, all were canceled and required to change to 60 (RWD) or 85D to continue the order.

Thanks to all of you that bought friendship bracelets, lanyards, and those special Mile High brownies. I've just paid for the car which is supposed to get here around Monday barring untold delays... Now to call the Xpel installer and see how his schedule looks!

Argh FINALLY got my car in the garage after another agonizing 3 days waiting for Xpel to be installed. Man that was rough. I forgot to turn on the remote app so I couldn't even watch it not moving on the map.
