Rumour is a transformer is already in place for Keith. You might need to make a trip to check it out @BenT ... c'mon, it's only 450 km return

If Horsham is in a similar state (power available but no site) then a sled could be used there too. It looks like Euroa is coming along so that sled could be free'd up if they pushed hard and got it finished off and I can't imagine building a sled is too difficult providing they have the parts (or even ship a couple over from stateside...).

Hell even bringing up a bunch more 3-phase destination chargers along the most obvious route and doing a country wide free unlock of the in car high rate charging for a week on each side of the event could be a suitable stop gap to get more Teslas to the event...

Building it could be done in a week if they wanted, but commissioning it may be another matter.

In SA I'd think Tesla have earned a lot of karma to cash in to get things done quickly... I hear the CEO knows the premier and they both want to make the legacy electricity mafia look foolish

Tesla Facebook post: "Our new Supercharger route in South Australia will soon allow Tesla owners to visit the world's largest battery site."

I suppose it all comes down to what Tesla considers soon as to whether we will be able to Supercharge our way to the event.
