    Anybody heading down the 4PM "brunch" this Sat 8/20. I thought I would check it out.

    It's actually on a Saturday. Also, the event is full and not taking any more RSVPs. Was thinking about it but not this time.

    Hotel rooms in Monterey were north of $500, some as high as $1K, when we checked a few days ago. Is Car Week and the Concours d'Elegance ('de Lemons', heh :)) really that big a draw?

    Based on other Tesla events, they will verify whether you're on the RSVP list, but I can't imagine they'll turn away an owner who shows up with their invitation email.

    In any case, I decided to RSVP for the Sunday morning event at Stanford instead. No cocktails there though.
