Well Paul... Change your plan to time-of-use. Save yourself thousands a year. Use the pwall to reduce grid usage during peak times to zero and only buy cheap cheap power at night!

I dont buy power at all for 6 months, so no gain there. For 4 months I buy hardly any, and my credits from the first 6 months covers it, and for 2 months in winter I buy most of my power for the year (Which is not a lot) I did some numbers on time of use rates based on current winter use and definately not better off compared to my energy locals deal which has an incredibly low flat rate. I did the review at the start of June and changed providers as a consequence. You cant save thousands if you aren’t buying power, and the equation has to include the FIT as I generate a lot of credits in summer…..the joys of 30kw of solar and 3 powerwalls

Agreed - if you charge an EV or have a Powerwall - let alone both - you're almost certain to be better off on TOU.

Ohhhh, hadn't thought of that...I was thinking daily/weekly benefits.... But yearly benefits, that's a whole new equation... My head hurts
