For someone who charges at home 99% of the time, just not worth it. It is nice to have the CCS option but I rarely have to charge at a Supercharger unless I am out and about for the whole day.

It won't be for long.. make sure to buy one so when those pesky tesla chargers are full on weekends and electrify america are empty, you can jump to that side!

Agreed but you just neee one bad experience where you make a line for 30mins to an hour just to charge to realize how painful that is, and wish you had options... ordered!

There are a number of locations where EA or EVGo rates are significantly less than Tesla SC rates.

Unfortunately you can't order the new adapter unless you have a vehicle that supports the adapter. My pending X order won't allow me to order it.

I was at every Bay Area EA charger in the last 24 hours, not a single one that wasn't able to provide full charging, even though some of the stalls may have been out of order, there was at least one. Of course that one was in use... But the next charger down the road would then have 8 stalls and no one using any of them.

FWIW my November 2020 build is CCS compatible according to the vehicle info screen, and Tesla's website says go for it if you want itI almost ordered but then I realized my legacy Model X can barely take advantage of a V3 charger and I'll probably be one of the only poor bastards at V2's soon.

Decent price though, considering the competition.

Yep. I have one of those. Ordered on Wednesday, shipped Thursday and will be here tomorrow (according to UPS).

I dunno. My time is valuable but not $250 worth for one! If I travel beyond my SC radius more frequently and lines don't improve, I can always get this at a later time.
